In keeping with the aims and objectives, the work of the Trust will be two pronged:
Focused initiatives aimed at poverty alleviation, education, employment and livelihood generation and overall sustainable development of vulnerable and indigenous communities.
Policy inputs, surveys and research and creating a participatory platform for dialogue, discussions and deliberations on relevant socio-political and civic issues.
Designed as a holistic community project and executed with the assistance of the Dept. of Sericulture, this program aims to build a self-sustaining silk hub with four villages around Phesual, Jorhat, Assam as a pilot by training and skilling households to build and sustain a commercially viable enterprise in the handloom industry.
This livelihood generation project includes:
